Since the photo I used is in black and white, I wanted to try keeping most of the painting that way while just making the guitar in color. I'm trying to decide if I like this technique.
This is someone who is passionate about using his musical ability for the Lord. The photo is over 40 years old, so he has been doing it a long time. Praising the Lord with instruments is a major theme in Psalm 150.
Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD. (emphasis mine)
