Coming up with an idea for a painting is sometimes the hardest part. That’s true in everyday cooking, too, at least for me.
Since I had recently baked some bread, I thought I would try painting food. My mom made the jelly. The jelly spoon and butter knife were wedding gifts to my parents.
John 6:1-13 tell about Jesus feeding 5,000 with five loaves of bread and two fish - and had twelve baskets of leftovers! Verses 26-40 talk about Jesus being the Bread of Life, the sustenance our souls need. Bread (food) is necessary for physical life, and Jesus is necessary for eternal life in heaven.
