When I was in high school, I went on a 4-H trip that included Chinatown in New York City. This painting was inspired by a fan I bought there. It brings back good memories with friends and of seeing new places.
The fan has Chinese writing on it that translates to Enjoying the Lotus Pond in Qingtang. The fan has seen better days, but not bad for being over 50 years old, maybe.
